In house Tax Manager - Merseyside

This is an excellent in-house role, for a Tax Manager seeking to work for a market-leading organisation, reporting to the Finance Director you will be responsible for the tax management for the UK and Europe.
You will be responsible for responsible for all corporation tax affairs of the UK group (25 companies), as well as coordinating overseas filings across Europe, as well as indirect tax filings.
You role will include undertaking monthly tax reviews of management accounting information for group reporting purposes, the preparation of tax accounting and corporation tax returns, research and development claims, thin capitalisation analysis and tax planning/optimisation initiatives
You wil aslo have direct oversight of the Group's European subsidiaries tax compliance positions and liaise with internal finance colleagues as and when required;

You will be a hardworking and technically strong tax professional who has a wide range of experience from both a corporate tax compliance and advisory perspective. Ideally CTA/ACA qualified from a Big 4 / Top 10 tax background
