Global Mobility Manager / Senior Manager, London, to £80k

An unusual "hybrid" opportunity has arisen for someone who enjoys both tax and the broader global mobility aspects of managing international assignees. The role offers high visibility within this small, yet highly successful professional services firm, and there is lots of scope for Partnership for the high achiever.

There are no primadonnas in this company and no sales targets below Partnership. The Partners and staff are all down to earth, friendly, inclusive and supportive. There are core hours but there is flexibility on how you manage your day, should you need it.

The ideal candidate will have both expatriate tax and global mobility experience and possess both national and international networks of associated service providers, e.g. accommodation, international removals, schools search etc.. However the Partners are realistic in their expectations and should you have more of one skill than the other, please do still apply as they are more interested in finding someone who is the right fit and then supporting them to quickly fill any gaps in knowledge or network.

Absolutely key however is the ability to provide a technically robust, high touch service to clients and you will need the gravitas and superior communication skills to make clients feel well taken care of.

The role reports directly to the Expatriate Tax and Global Mobility Partners, for whom you will also provide cover when they are away from the office. It also includes assisting the Partners with the training and development of more junior staff. The team itself provides a comprehensive suite of fully integrated services within the human capital / employment arena. If you enjoy rolling your sleeves up and getting involved, this role will really appeal to you. There are lots of opportunities to develop yourself and your career and thus will suit those who want to make their own mark. There is scope to work on wider projects within the firm also, should you wish to, which will offer you lots more technical exposure than you would get in a larger firm. The Partners will always be on hand for support however, if needed.
