Customs and Trade Manager – Dubai.
We are looking to hire a Customs & Trade specialist at Manager level to join an International Advisory firm based in Dubai:
• To work with the GCC countries in the practical application of Customs Law across member states.
• Apply the regional Free Trade Agreements.
• Advise on key customs concepts such as valuation, classification and origin.
• Present VAT considerations for clients in relation to their Global Trade activities.
• Work across an International internal network in delivering advice in respect of global jurisdictions
• Provide indirect tax expertise for audit and transaction projects.
To be considered for this Customs and Trade Manager role, then we are looking for an International profile with:
• A specialist and dedicated background within Customs and Trade for approx. 5-6 years.
• ACA/CA/ Law qualification / CTA (or equivalent tax qualification)
• Experience of working within a Big 4 environment (or similar).
• A proven history in client Management and development
• Extremely strong Project management skills; plan and prioritise work across strict deadlines and set budgets.
• Be able to work fully in English (written & oral)
