A well-established global accountancy firm are looking to recruit into their Business Tax team and are looking for quality candidates within the OMB market at the Tax Manager, Associate Director level within their London office based in the City. Working within this firm you will be part of a real family atmosphere, where they value and reward their staff, encouraging a great work life balance, whilst maintaining high quality across the board. From a day to day basis you will be responsible for managing your own portfolio as well as managing all aspects of compliance and advisory functions for your clients.

Broadly, Key Responsibilities include:

* Dealing with HMRC correspondence.
* Be responsible for controlling WIP and personal targets
* Developing knowledge of UK and other taxation matters carry out research and problem solve any arising issues by using HMRC manuals and tax legislation.
* As a manager, you will also develop and assist the junior members of staff to encourage effective delivery
* Assist partners and colleagues with any project/consultancy work and ensuring deadlines are met regularly.
* As an Associate Director, your core responsibilities will be:
*

* Managing a varied portfolio of clients and resolving any client queries.
* Supporting senior management to drive the team in order to achieve targets and ensure deadlines are met.
* Building a strong rapport and develop internal as well as external contacts to maximise cross selling opportunities.
* Core involvement in business development, working with/leading the Tax marketing group and presenting at client seminars.

You must be able to work under pressure, be self-motivated as well as have strong organisational, communication and presentation skills. In order to be successful you should be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) or be CTA qualified.
