EMEA VAT Planning Manager (Paris, Milan, Madrid, Düsseldorf or London)

Our client is global market leader in its industry and this is an opportunity to join at an interesting time, in this newly created EMEA VAT planning position. The EMEA VAT team is decentralised, so the role can be based in a number of different countries: Italy (Milan); Spain (Madrid), France (Paris), or Germany (Düsseldorf) or UK (London).

The majority of the work will be VAT planning, advisory, audit and project work in EMEA. The role is part of a strong, global tax team handling a range of international projects for the difference businesses.

Suitable candidates will have around 7 – 10 years of VAT experience with a focus on VAT planning and VAT audits. Some knowledge of accounting, systems and compliance is also required. Strong technical skills and the ability to work independently are essential. Clear communication in English is essential, and other languages beneficial.

In this role, you will deal with VAT planning in multiple EMEA jurisdictions, work on many different types of projects & have regular interaction with business, supply chain and finance leaders as you help them solve their VAT issues.
