JOB DESCRIPTION
The Tax Specialist will be responsible for:
• Tax information reporting for US, Canadian and other foreign accounts
• European VAT and Canadian GST
• Tax support to customer services on FATCA and other tax questions
• Handling individual retirement accounts
• Doing research to assist review of website tax informational content
REQUIRED SKILLS
• 2+ years of Public Accounting and/or Private Industry experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Solid Tax background (Compliance and International)
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized
• Able to multitask efficiently and effectively
Desired Skills
• Prior understanding of Brokerage Tax and Reporting issues
