A New Jersey-based professional services firm is currently seeking an experienced Tax professional for a promising Senior Associate position with their growing staff. Under direction from Principals, Senior Managers, and Managers, the Senior Tax Associate will be responsible for the review and preparation of partnership and corporate tax returns.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Senior Tax Associate will be responsible for:
• Reviewing and preparing of federal, state and local corporate tax returns (1120, 1120s and 1120f)
• Reviewing and preparing of federal, state and local partnership returns (1065’s)
• Reviewing and preparing of quarterly estimates – corporate and partnership
• Supporting and training staff in the preparation of all aspects of corporate & partnership returns and research
• Responding to tax notices
• Interacting and building client relationships and support Manager/Senior Manager/Partner on client accounts

REQUIRED SKILLS
• 4+ years of Public Accounting experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• CPA
• Experience with C-Corporations
• Experience in Corporate, State and Local Tax Compliance
• Experience in Partnership Taxation Compliance
• Experience in researching State and Local Tax issues
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized
