Post Grad Engineering Opportunity within R&D Tax Practice, KPMG, Dublin

Given the continued growth of our practice, we are seeking to hire a Consultant to join our team, based at our office in Dublin. The role will involve a certain degree of travel within Ireland.

This role would suit someone from an engineering background with strong writing skills who can utilise their scientific/technical knowledge to assist companies with the preparation of the scientific/technical aspects of R&D tax credit claims.

Key responsibilities include:

· Assisting the R&D team in providing advice to clients in relation to the eligibility of activities for the R&D tax credit, including attendance to meetings, liaising with clients’ technical leads, and review of documents.
· Researching and resolving queries both general and client specific in relation to the scientific/technical aspects of the R&D tax credit.
· Gather technical information from our clients’ R&D teams.
· Drafting technical reports detailing qualifying R&D projects.
· Planning, organising and executing R&D engagements on time and within budget.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with our clients.

KPMG will provide the successful candidate with specialised training on the R&D tax credit scheme.
