Corporate Tax Manager - Financial Services

A leading Financial Services Business is seeking a Tax Manager to head up their In-house tax team. The role has been created due to growth in the business and a new tax function being set up in Glasgow. You will be working in the Fund Accounting Department, managing tax compliance service delivery within a team of approximately 7 to 10 staff members, ensuring client commitments and regulatory deadlines are met. The business is dynamic and a recognised leader in their field, it would be a fantastic place to progress your career.
Tax Accountant Key Responsibilities
* Responsible for ensuring all tax affairs of Investment Trusts, Open Ended Investment Companies and Unit Trusts are maintained to the highest standards of accuracy
* Management point of contact for Clients, Auditors, HMRC and other departments within the business
* Develop internal and external client and stakeholder relationships
* Manage a team of approximately 7 to 10 staff members
* Coach, develop and train staff to maximise performance
Ideally you will have a background in corporate tax with experience of managing a small team, some experience of Financial Services would be beneficial but not necessary. You will have either worked in privet practise or in-house and be looking to pursue a career in tax in the Financial Services industry.
