Tax Investigation Senior Manager / Director /Partner, Manchester

This national practice seeks to recruit a high calibre experienced tax investigations specialist to lead and grow its service offering in the North West. The successful candidate will work closely with national team and the partners who head it. The national tax investigations group deals with a wide range of large external cases (including COP8 cases), advises in respect of offshore disclosure facilities, as well as providing tax risk management advice and high-level input into enquiries queries raised by HMRC into the firm’s corporate clients. The firm now seeks an ambitious and experienced tax investigations specialist to service the northern market and will consider applicants who range from go-ahead Senior Managers, who have the self-confidence to see themselves as future rain-makers, through to established partners with a local reputation and an effective network of contacts. Hands on involvement in client facing advisory aspects of the role and the development of new business opportunities are key aspects of the role. You will either be ACA / CTA qualified or a former HMIT with experience gained subsequently in the profession, with strong investigation and excellent communications skills.
