International Tax Manager (Multi-National Corporation) - Tampa, Florida

Our client is a privately held multinational trucking and chemical transportation business. The firm also own a number of subsidiary businesses including but not limited to oil & gas and water companies, which run alongside their core operations. The firm grew organically since their formation in 1984 and more recently they have acquired a number of corporations to further drive their growth. The firm have over 1,000 employees within the U.S. and you will be joining their Tampa, Florida Headquarters where 200 employees are based. You will be joining a small tax team of four professionals as the Director of International Tax.

The tax department within the firm are broadly responsible for planning, compliance and any further issues in relation to domestic and foreign income tax. You will be responsible for advising the company on their tax implications in regards to mergers and acquisitions as well as other tax implications linked to their international growth. You will also be responsible for provisions, year end and quarterly end tax returns.

The ideal candidate will be CPA or JD qualified with over 5 years’ worth of experience within corporate international tax. We are seeking an individual with experience dealing with European corporate clients from both an inbound and outbound perspective. You will also have experience operating at the Manager level at either The Big 4 or a Top 10 National CPA firm.
