About the opportunity

Your chance to join a specialist Tax Controversy team dedicated to resolving Tax disputes with various revenue authorities. You will have exposure to both alternative dispute resolution and litigation within the State and Federal Courts including involvement at all stages of the Tax Controversy lifecycle. Strategising with clients, and preparing evidence and gaining technical analysis from tax and non-tax specialists alike, will be a part of your new role. The Tax Controversy team is headed by strong leadership team combining extensive experience across both Accounting and Legal firms.

About you

- Qualified Lawyer
- Practical experience in tax dispute resolution and controversy
- Exposure to all aspects of the Tax Controversy lifecycle including risk reviews, objections, audits and court proceedings
- Tax litigation experience across State / Federal Courts and Admnistrative Appeals Tribunal
- Experience from a Big 4 Accounting firm or top-tier law firm
- Stakeholder management including clients, Counsel and expert witness
- Ability to collaborate with other areas of the Tax practice as well as the greater firm
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
