Accountancy Practice - Tax Assistant - Bury

This firm are an established firm of chartered accountants with an excellent reputation in the local area. They are looking to appoint a Tax Assistant to their busy and expanding tax team.

Your new role
As a Tax Assistant, you will be responsible for working with a portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance work is undertaken, submitting tax returns and liaising with clients in regards to queries and compliance matters. You will also get involved in the advisory side of things and help senior members of the team with more technical issues. There will be ad hoc tasks involved in this role that will see you get involved in payroll for clients, business development and preparing proposals for new and potential clients.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to undertake this role you will have up to date knowledge of UK tax legislation and have had exposure to corporate, income and capital gains tax as well as ideally Inheritance tax. You will have worked in a practice previously and be a competent IT user.
