Indirect Tax Director - US Multinational, Dublin

A Fortune 500 company with operations in over 100 countries are looking for an Indirect Tax Director to work in their European HQ in Dublin. The role reports into the Senior International Tax Director and is an opportunity for an individual looking for a challenge at an outstanding multinational corporation.

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Compliance with VAT legislation
• Identify ways to simplify VAT compliance processes
• Management of 8-10 indirect tax reports
• Responsibility for Indirect tax audits in European countries with operations
• Business partnering to resolve indirect tax issues
• Increase VAT awareness at all levels of the company
• Advise on the impact of VAT law changes
• Assist with business development such as product initiatives and identifying potential VAT implications

Requirements:
• Professional tax qualification – CTA/AIIT/ACA
• 5 years + experience PQE
• Ideally management experience from a multinational corporation and time spent in a top accountancy firm
• Excellent working knowledge of EU VAT Law and exposure to systems used by other countries
• Good management ability to deal with all the direct reports
• Ability to multi task with good problem solving ability.
