The company is committed to expansion plans in the Asia Pacific region and are looking to recruit a Regional Indirect Tax Manager to play a vital role in realising this strategy. The Role
Reporting into the Global and Regional Head of Tax, you will take ownership for the function that will support the groups indirect tax affairs across the Asia Pacific region and you will be a key stakeholder in being able to provide solutions to complex tax issues. You will be responsible for developing the indirect tax framework and manage planning opportunities and mitigate tax risks. You will be the trusted indirect tax advisor to the business and will ensure that all tax reporting procedures and compliance responsibilities are completed in line with local legislative requirements. The role is highly autonomous and is tasked with building and maintaining relationships with both internal and external tax counterparts and authorities.

About You
To be suitable for this opportunity you must have relevant tertiary qualifications as well as a minimum of seven years' experience in tax gained in both a professional services and commercial in-house environment. They are an organisation that thrives on collaboration, creative thinking and high performance and are seeking these attributes in the successful applicant. There will also be a need and willingness for regular travel given the jurisdictional responsibility that role holds.
