Corporate Tax Director, Mid-Tier Firm, £75-85, 000 London

The Practice:

The firm is a highly successful mid-tier firm with a focus on the SME market. The corporate tax team has seen steady growth over the last few years and is in a position to expand further. There is also succession needs in the firm, which means high level prospects for the ambitious.

The Role:

You will have your own portfolio of clients, which will range from quoted companies to one man bands. Clients are diverse and include sectors such as property, FS, media and manufacturing. The role will be focused on compliance review and providing tax technical advice.

Compliance: compliance review

Consultancy: M&A, start-ups and disposals, R&D and Patent Box or other tax reliefs.

Non-technical: Act as a mentor and support the partners in BD activity.

Prospects:

As a director you will have a direct reporting line to the MP and head of tax. The practice will treat you as a potential partner as opposed to a well-paid manager. As a senior member of the team you will be part of the strategic decision making process and contribute to the direction of the firm. It is envisaged that you will make the move to partner in 24 – 48 months. This is of course dependent on you and your experience.

Experience of corporate and business tax, including LLPs and OMB's.
