TRANSACTION SERVICES ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR / MANAGER HONG KONG

We are acting for a Big 4 client seeking an Associate Director / Manager for transaction services in Hong Kong.

The successful candidate for the Transaction Services position will provide deal advisory support from pre-deal evaluation to completion and post-deal integration or separation. You will help clients to identify opportunities and risk in their acquisitions, disposals, JVs and buy-outs.

Responsibilities

- Lead or contribute to due diligence and other transaction advisory engagements in China and Hong Kong SAR
- Participate in activities which are beneficial to the growth and development of the practice
- Willingness to travel essential

Experience and Knowledge

- A minimum of 5 years accounting / audit or finance experience with a major CPA or commercial firm
- Transaction experience in executing due diligence or any other M&A advisory services would be advantageous
- Strong analytical, financial and commercial skills, with a technical accounting focus
- Able to demonstrate experience in managing projects and engagement teams
- Good written and verbal presentation and communication skills
- A team player with high levels of enthusiasm
- Candidate with big four audit or transaction services background is preferred

Education and Professional Certifications

- A degree holder and a professional accounting qualification (for Assistant Manager, candidates without a professional accounting qualification must be in final stages of obtaining a professional accounting qualification)
- Proficiency in English, Mandarin. Written Chinese is preferred but not a must
