The Federal Corporate Tax Manager will:
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team helping to provide insurance industry knowledge and experience
• Manage a portfolio of clients of varying size and scope and act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
• Build and manage client relationships; advise clients and be responsible for delivering high quality tax service and advice
• Manage risk and financial performance of engagements including billing, collections, and project budgets
REQUIRED SKILLS
• 5+ years of Corporate Tax experience within an Accounting, Corporation, and/or Law firm; 3+ years of working experience with Insurance, Banking or Asset Management Corporate entities
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• Licensed CPA or J.D./LL.M.
• Solid Tax background (Compliance, Research & Planning, State & Local, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of ASC 740 and SSAP 101
• Microsoft Excel proficient
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized
• Able to multitask efficiently and effectively
