Audit & Accounts Manager, Surrey, to £50k

Offering a fantastic opportunity with real progression, our client is a firm of Chartered Accountants who seek to appoint an ambitious, motivated Audit and Accounts Manager for their Surrey office.

Ideally you will be either ACA/ACCA qualified and have a good general practice background looking to work with a recognised firm in the Guildford area.

You will be working with Owner Managed Businesses across a wide range of industries who are based mainly in the Surrey area with also a few up in London. This is a role which will include around 70 % Audit work ( without extensive travelling though) and around 30 % accounts work. The role which will encompass managing the audit process; managing junior members of staff; preparation of statutory accounts and controlling budgets. The role requires an ability to work alone and be part of a team.

The ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff at all levels is essential. You will ideally have experience of supervising junior staff. The Partners will consider candidates who currently work in a smaller independent firm who may only have a small amount of Audit experience and wish to develop this area or candidates coming from a larger firm who would like more autonomy and work in a "mixed" role.

The salary band set for this role of £45,000 - £50,000 is a guide and will depend on relevant experience. Based in Guildford the role is commutable from Leatherhead, Woking, Epsom areas.
