Our client is an excellent firm of Chartered Accountants and has a reputation for promoting from within the firm.
The Partners are now looking to take on a new hire and to recruit either a Newly Qualified Accountant or perhaps a Late Finalist (with Case study to complete).
The role will "sit" in the firm's Audit and Accounts team. It is anticipated that the split of the role will be 60% Audit work and 40% Accounts and Project work.
You will be involved in developing good business relationships with a diverse and exciting range of clients many of which are Owner Managed and are of a significant size.
Responsibilities:
To attend pre-audit and final audit meetings
To work closely with clients and also with the relevant Partners
Assist with the supervision of active studiers whilst out on audit
Preparation of annual statutory accounts and ad hoc project work
Person:
A Qualified ACA/ACCA or late stage Studier as full study support will be offered with relevant experience gained in Practice and up to date Audit knowledge including technical skills such as experience of GAAP reporting
The firm offers a competitive salary and good benefits plus study if needed. Based in the Guildford area this is commutable from Woking, Leatherhead, Epsom areas.
