Senior Recruitment Consultant - Finance, Michael Page, Reading, to £35k + profit share bonus, OTE £40-50k in year one

Michael Page are the premium brand for Financial Recruitment across the globe. Locally, we have 19 Finance recruiters based in the Reading office, supported by teams nearby in Slough, Chiswick, Guildford, Oxford and Southampton. We offer very a clear route to progression, and the training is market leading. In your first three months, you will spend all your time learning and developing. We offer internal and external training courses, coupled with local support from an experienced Director. We work 8:30am to 6pm and have an excellent working environment. Description

We take pride in ensuring that our client and our candidates experience a first class recruitment service. Acting as a Business Partner to Finance Directors and Financial Controllers, your role will be client facing, offering a whole 360 recruitment solution to both large companies and SME's.

The role of a Michael Page Recruitment Consultant revolves around commercial customer service, business development and generating revenue while engaging with clients, candidates and your Page Group colleagues. It is a mix of HR, Sales, Customer Service, Advertising and Marketing - a truly diverse role, that offers a very commercial view of businesses across the Thames Valley. In the role you will interview candidates, and meet with clients on a daily basis. Your day will be varied, and will involve a high level of time management and organisational skills, as there are always ongoing projects that will need to be managed

To succeed in this role, you will need to have strong commercial acumen, proven negotiation skills and the ability to influence. You will need to have a competitive nature, and extreme amounts of drive and passion - this role can be hard work, so you will need tenacity and resilience.
