A professional services company in New York City is looking to fill an immediate need with the addition of a new Tax Manager to their staff. In this role, the Tax Manager will be responsible for managing, planning, and prioritizing multiple small business and personal client engagements.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Tax Manager will be responsible for:
• Preparing and reviewing complex tax returns, including multi-state returns for C Corporations, S Corporations, partnerships, individuals, estates, and trusts.
• Tax compliance review and technical research
• Analyzing the scope of each engagement to manage schedules, budgets, and deadlines
• Direct interaction with partners
• Supervision of Senior/Staff/Associate Accountants
• Direct client contact
REQUIRED SKILLS
• 5+ years of current or recent CPA firm experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• CPA or parts passed
• Solid Tax background (Compliance; Corporate; Fiduciary; Individual; International; Partnership; Research & Planning; State & Local; Trust/Estate)
• Microsoft Excel proficient
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized
