International Tax Senior/ Manager - Washington DC

Here at “International Tax Search” we have been assigned by a leading 70 staff Northern Virginia CPA firm to help them in recruiting a talented International Tax experienced Senior or Manager. This firm has ambitious plans of further growing its international tax service offering and thus they need to support this growth with adding additional experienced and talented staff to the department. You will be involved in broad ranging international corporate tax work. You will be heavily involved in consulting with European, Asian and Australasian corporations who wish to expand into the USA. You will have experience taking on such consulting assignments and would have dealt with inbound, setting up US subs, transfer pricing issues, capital structure, and debt to equity rations, totalisation agreements, some work for the execs. You will regularly be walking clients through all of the issues as it relates to inbound tax matters. Ideally the firm would want someone who has experience with both domestic and international tax but not vitally.

You will be able to read treaties, understand structuring matters and had exposure to clients who are small to middle market in nature. You will be completing compliance work and have the opportunity to be involved in business development initiatives. You will be able to take initiative to work independently in growing the practice.

Must hold a current CPA license or hold a JD/LLM in Taxation. Must have at least 5 years + international tax experience and have a desire to help grow a business. Must also have a proven track record of delivering consulting projects to closely held middle market clients.
