Our Big 4 client is seeking a Director, Risk Assurance -- Food Supply and Integrity.
This Big 4 firm is forming a strategic alliance with a leading company in the food safety field to provide integrated food safety and quality related assurance and advisory services to existing and new clients in China.
The services will assist clients to optimise and enhance food safety processes and controls across the food supply chain (from the farm, through processing and manufacturing, to retail sales) and to assist clients to comply with food safety regulatory requirements, standards and best practices. This partnership will achieve this through cooperating and contributing expertise and resources in China to provide food safety professional services to client.
Job Description & Requirements
•Set strategic directions, establish business objectives and targets for meeting the firm mission of supporting the development and growth of FSIS
•Formulate visionary business plans including service landscape, KPIs and remuneration of people, financial and budget plan for the business, and other critical issues of the business and develop consulting services to meet long term market needs
•Build closer relationship with key clients, related associates, professional bodies and government departments in mainland China, Hong Kong and overseas
•Ensure compliance with highest standard of regulatory and perform risk management to safeguard the integrity and best interest of the firm
•Inspire the teams, motivate people and steer the business to be the best in this specific field of expertise
Requirements
Please note that this firm is seeking an experienced senior-level audit/risk assurance professional.
•Minimum Bachelor's degree with sold expertise and knowledge in related operations with at least six years’ exposure in management capacity in well-established multinational company or professional services firm
•Preferably with overseas education and consulting experience
•Strong business acumen to lead the development of the business
•Strong influencing, negotiation and consultative skills with an ability to build strong relationships at a leading levels
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
•High proficiency in verbal and written English and Chinese
•Be energetic and enthusiastic and always promote positive environment
•With strong logical sense and commercial awareness
•Conscientious and responsible, with demonstrated high standards of ethics and integrity
