An opportunity has arisen in a Top 10 international firm within their successful expatriate team. What you’ll be doing on the day to day
You will be working with a wide range of international companies, ranging from smaller entrepreneurial companies to the FTSE’s. This diversity within the client base will allow you to develop both your technical and client skills. You will assist in planning expatriate assignments and advising them on any possible tax implications resulting from an employee move.
Furthermore, you shall review UK/US tax returns, conduct arrival and departure briefings and advise on UK and US social security planning and structure assignments packages for top staff. You will also be involved in mentor junior staff and supporting senior staff in networking and hopefully winning new business!
The teams are relatively smaller than those found in some of the larger firms such as the Big 4. For you this equates to greater opportunity to working with partners and senior managers to learn how they do what they do. It also translates to less competition when it comes to promotion prospects.
