The Pension Assurance Centre (PAC) team work with Trustees and Administrators to provide audit services to Pension Scheme clients. We currently act for over 200 scheme clients and there are active plans for significant further growth. We are looking for the right candidate to work as part of the team to assist in the delivery of pension audit assignments working effectively and efficiently to deliver excellent client service, a high level of audit quality and to support the Audit Executive and Manager team.<br>This role would suit individuals who are looking for a more flexible working week as it is a largely an office based role, it can be full time or part time.
Job Description:
Main Responsibilities

• Takes responsibility for the audit work assigned to them, seeking to deliver work right first time and minimise review notes / outstanding client queries to clear later
• Planning - involvement in planning discussions, completing planning work and related deliverables
• Fieldwork – prepare audit working papers, liaise with client and/or administrators to obtain necessary audit evidence, review draft financial statements
• Completion – finish audit file including discussions with client, produce all client deliverables including drafting report to management

Experience/ Education/ Qualifications:

• Maths and English Language at GCSE or equivalent
• Experience of using Microsoft packages, internet, email and computerised audit packages
• Experience of working in Audit, ideally within Practice
• An understanding of accounts preparation techniques
