Be inspired. Be challenged. Be yourself. Here, you can. The role is as an Assistant Manager within the Expatriate Tax Team within the Personal Tax Compliance Unit here at Grant Thornton UK LLP. You'll play a central role on the team monitoring workflow and reporting to the team manager, engaging and training colleagues to enable the processing of UK tax returns to agreed service standards, building effective relationships with clients and being responsible for a review allocation. You'll know that what you do matters. As an organisation we want to be known for how we do business, not simply what we do. Job Description:
Main Responsibilities

• Training, coaching and development of team
• Managing workflow of returns throughout the season to ensure agreed service level standards are met
• Review of significant number of the returns prepared on the team
• Participation in business development opportunities and work with manager to promote the team's services internally
• Be actively involved in managing internal client relationships and communicating directly with clients to manage expectation and trouble shoot issues as they arise

Experience/Education/Qualifications required:

• ATT qualified (CTA desirable but not essential)
• Previous experience of preparation and review of expatriate tax returns
• Up to date tax knowledge
• Previous Management/ supervisory experience is desirable
