Senior Tax Manager/ Director PE M&A

In this role you will work with an established client portfolio advising private equity and venture capital backed companies and private equity funds on the full range of their tax issues in the Mid Cap space. This team is experiencing substantial growth and in-flow of business equally from it overarching platform and through referrals. The open role is to join at an exciting time where the business feels investment in their M&A is of paramount to the Practices overall strategy.

As a leading member of the team, you will be focusing on:

- structuring new PE funds including carried interest and manager arrangements;
- structuring and diligence in relation to acquisitions, disposals and refinancing;
- assisting PE funds with their tax strategy; and
- navigating the increased complexity that being owned by a PE/VC fund gives an investee company's ongoing tax position.

You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of UK mid-market private equity houses and their portfolio groups and also gain experience of US PE funds investing into the UK.

You will participate in all aspects of the deal cycle from due diligence services, tax structuring , input into SPAs and financing documents, post-acquisition implementation and , on-going advice to portfolio companies and preparation for sale. In addition you will participate in client business development activities, honing your marketing skills and provide training and coaching to more junior members of your team.

The client is very keen to have confidential conversation on an informal basis with aspiring Partners, who feels the BIG 4 platform for whatever reason, cannot accommodate accelerated progression.
