VAT/Indirect Tax Consultant (Tax Manager)

Based in London, up to £65k basic + bonus + generous benefits package.
Due to team expansion, there is an opportunity to join a rapidly growing international VAT/Indirect Tax Team in London.

Your job

Your role will be strongly client focused, you will increase efficiency and effectiveness of FTSE250 companies and equivalent listed firms in Europe, through the identification of savings via ground breaking VAT reviews.
You will be supported by a team of experienced consultants and your reporting line manager.

The requirements

• Indirect Tax/VAT experience, 4+ years
• Ex accounting firm and/or in-house tax experience
• Knowledge of reporting macros in Excel and Access
• Excellent client service skills
• Ability to deal with issues under a high pressure environment
• Effective team-working skills
• Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
