Tax Manager or Assistant Manager required for leading accountancy practice in Ipswich. Salary negotiable.
Highly reputable Accountancy Practice in Ipswich, is seeking a Tax Manager or Assistant Manager to manage and contribute further to the development of the client portfolio and promote the services available.
Duties will include;
* Dealing with client queries regarding tax affairs
* Meeting with new and existing clients
* Capital gains tax and inheritance tax advice (existing clients and new clients)
* VAT advice(existing and new clients)
* Drafting reports and letters for clients tax advice, covering any tax - ad hoc work
* Dealing with technical queries from all sectors of the firm
* PAYE compliance reviews, dispensation and PAYE settlement agreements
* VAT Investigations
* Dealing with HMRC enquiries
* Meeting with clients and onsite work
* Drafting reports
* P11D preparation and dealing with clients
* Construction Industry Scheme Return preparation and advice
* Supervising others and reviewing personal tax returns and discuss amendments with juniors
* Maintain CPD by attending internal and external courses
* Attend networking events to promote the firm and win new work
* Identify cross selling opportunities
