In-house role Watford!
If you are looking to move out of a client facing role and still maintain a strong career progression but with an in-house role, my client is looking for a Tax Manager in Watford!
In this role you will:
Main contact for all tax related queries from both current Partners and retired Partners
· Calculation of the tax retention to be applied to each Partner's pay
· Calculation of other tax adjustments to be applied to Profit share, e.g. deferred tax, suspended tax, equitable adjustments etc
· Maintaining accurate records of current and historic tax retentions balances
· Liaising with HMRC with respect to tax affairs of all partners
· Calculating and making 31 January and 31 July tax payments to HMRC on behalf of partners
· Working with the Partnership Accounts team to produce annual Member Statements
· Taxable profit share calculations and other allocations for Partner's self-assessment returns
· Producing full tax reports and tax return pages for retired partners
· Assistance with the Partner Tax Compliance process, e.g. reviewing individual returns, answering tax return queries from both Partners and the tax compliance team and input to the process for gathering details of Partners personal income.
· Assisting Partners with HMRC enquiries, return amendments etc.
· Managing consultation process for Partners making tax efficient investments.
