VAT Manager, up to £50k basic + benefits, GLASGOW

Due to team expansion, there is an opportunity to join a rapidly growing VAT team in Glasgow.

About you

Your role will be strongly client focused, you will be regularly involved in pitching clients and leading the service delivery, you will also manage others.
You should have broad VAT knowledge to be able to assist clients with VAT returns, international VAT accounting, TOMS, property issues.
As you will be assisting with the coaching and development of more junior members within your team, you will work closely with the Director and Partner of the VAT Practice, be supported by them and be given opportunities to fast track your career.

The requirements

- Genuine interest for VAT, up-to-date on industry developments and issues
- Previous experience required
- CTA qualified is advantageous
- Effective team-working skills
- Effective planning and organising skills to ensure that the varied workload is managed effectively
- Good communication skills and the ability to engage at all levels
