Head of Tax, Real Estate Fund (new role reporting to CFO), to £125k + package + bonus

This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the strategic direction of the tax function, within one of London's rapidly growing, entrepreneurial real-estate fund businesses. As this is the greenfield site, the person coming into the business will work closely with the CFO and will have full autonomy and support in building the tax function. Working in close collaboration with the CFO, the role assumes responsibility for tax matters at all stages of the real estate investment lifecycle including fund structuring, transaction support, compliance and monitoring tax changes and communicating the impact. As a niche fund manager with a small team, this will be a very broad role ranging from oversight of direct taxes and indirect taxes, CIS obligations at investment level to satisfying requirements of our investors in the funds.

The objective is to offer a 'best-in-class' service to our investors, minimising their tax leakage and developing the tax knowledge of the team and processes to manage tax risk. Communication of changes in tax and analysis of the impact for the group and its investors is also a key focus.
