Private Client Tax Manager, Cambridgeshire

The Cambridgeshire office of this medium-sized Chartered Accountancy practice is looking to recruit a private client tax specialist who is familiar with handling work that includes CGT, Trusts, Share Schemes and general personal tax.

Clients include high net worth individuals, SME directors, Trustees and residential landlords.

The role in brief:

Managing your own client portfolio, you will be responsible for the preparation, drafting and finalising self-assessment tax returns for individuals and trusts, including capital gains computations and preparation of schedules of income from property and small income and expenditure accounts where necessary

Reviewing the progress of tax return preparation and payment of tax through the tax cycle

Production of P11D’s, monitoring progress and ensuring timely completion

Identifying and highlight tax planning opportunities for clients

Assisting the payroll team with year-end only payrolls

Assist with the mentoring and coaching of junior team members

Participate in internal and external meetings as required
