Our client is a prominent provider of tax services and offshore tax planning advice to entrepreneurial private clients and their families. They continue to grow and are keen to appoint an Assistant Manager to perform a client-facing advisory role. The position will involve both ad hoc planning and overseeing the annual compliance cycle for a high quality portfolio of clients. Scope also exists to get involved with networking and marketing initiatives on the island (and potentially on trips to London).
The successful candidate will be ATT or CTA qualified with demonstrable experience of UK personal taxation, gained in a respected accountancy firm. They may currently be based on the Isle of Man or be considering relocating from the mainland.
They will have a good grasp of UK income tax, CGT and IHT issues effecting international private clients. It is important that they also have a working knowledge of the UK taxation of offshore structures and the anti avoidance legislation relating to Income tax and Capital Gains tax.
In return, the individual will be supported in their development towards Manager and Senior Manager grade, building a 'name' for themselves on the Island as one of the 'go to' advisers on private client taxation. Ref 4448
