Mixed Tax Assistant Manager or Manager, North Yorkshire

This strong North Yorkshire firm of Chartered Accountants provide a broad range of professional services to a number of large and small family businesses and unquoted plcs, as well as to a range of wealthy individuals and more general personal tax clients too.

The practice is growing and as a result the tax department is looking to recruit a newly CTA qualified or post qualified Mixed Tax Assistant Manager or Manager.

The role itself can be tailored to the strengths of the individual – either more tax advisory or more tax compliance in your workload – and in addition to an attractive salary, you will also enjoy a real mixture of tax work, from the routine to the complex, as well as opportunities for career progression with a firm that has ambitions to match your own.

It is anticipated that suitable candidates will have gained tax training within a medium sized firm of accountants, although Big 4 candidates will also be considered - if the individual can demonstrate a good breadth to their tax experience and are not too much of a specialist in only one or two niche areas.

Good client facing and communication skills are important, as is the ability to work effectively in a successful and energetic team dynamic and also excellent organisation and time management skills too.
