An exciting opportunity has arisen for a knowledgeable VAT professional with 1-2 years’ experience to develop their career as part of this national VAT practice within an international accountancy firm. The role will offer the successful candidate an opportunity to broaden their experience and knowledge across a wide variety of clients in the corporate, not-for-profit and public sectors.

The core elements of the role will be to support the VAT Manager in the provision of VAT advisory services, dealing with HMRC, undertaking VAT compliance projects and working with teams across the firm i.e. M&A.

Eligible candidates should be able to demonstrate the following skills/qualities:

• Excellent written and numerical skills gained to higher/college or degree level
• VAT background gained in practice, industry or HMRC
• Ability to plan, prioritise and complete work to a high standard
• Ability to build relationships both internally and externally
• Good problem solving skills
