The Client Tax department of an established asset management firm located on Long Island is actively seeking a driven and dynamic individual for a promising opportunity on their staff as an Administrative Assistant. In this role, the Client Tax Administrative Assistant will be responsible for ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Client Tax Administrative Assistant will:
• Distribute department Distribute department mail.
• Process outgoing mail including typing Fed X and Certified Labels
• Collate/mail various trust, foundation and other tax returns, extensions and estimated taxes
• Order checks
• Type cover letters to government agencies as well as attachments to tax returns and spreadsheets
REQUIRED SKILLS
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word
• Polished and professional demeanor
• Demonstrates discretion
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines with efficiency and accuracy
• Excellent attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
