Your new company
Your new company is a recognised global company that through growth is seeking to appoint to a newly created role of a Financial Accountant biased towards treasury. Based in Cumbria it is well known in the area and known as an employer of choice where talent is recognised and rewarded.
Your new role
Your role will be diverse and you will be responsible for looking after the banking relationships and processes, producing hedge reports and group treasury reports. Exposure and knowledge of IFRS and JSOX/ SOX would be an advantage along with the ability to provide accounting support to operations. You will also perform FX deals and assist with intercompany loans and summaries.
What you'll need to succeed
It is essential that you are a fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA or CIMA) and whilst treasury experience would be desirable we are interested in applicants who have a desire to move into this key area of finance. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required coupled with the ability to work operational building key relationships internally and external.
