Research & Development Tax Senior / Manager, to $125k

A regional CPA firm headquartered in New York City is actively seeking a self-motivated and dynamic Tax professional for a promising Senior / Manager role in their research & Development department. In this role, the Research & Development Tax Senior / Manager will be responsible for oversight and insurance that tasks within the department are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Research & Development Tax Senior / Manager:
• Conduct Research & Development project management
• Manage R&D credit studies and related activities
• Develop and sustain excellent client relationships during delivery of R&D services
• Assist in new business development, including add-on business
• Assist R&D project managers with the delivery of engagements as needed, including research and writing with regard to technical issues
• Provide R&D quality assurance, engagement reviewer and exam support

REQUIRED SKILLS
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• 4+ years of general tax experience with at least 1 year of R&D tax credits experience
• Strong tax research skills
• Polished and professional demeanor
• CPA or JD
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong Corporate Tax knowledge
• Proficiency with computer platforms and applications
• Ability to multitask
