About The Opportunity
A promising opportunity as a Tax Senior awaits a qualified and diligent Tax Senior at a premier financial advisory firm in New York City. In this role, the Tax Senior will serve in a direct client management role. In addition, the Tax Senior will help manage all aspects of the quality, timeliness and efficiency of client deliverables, including tax return preparation, tax planning and advisory services.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Tax Senior will:
Establish rapport with sophisticated clients
Research and interpret the Internal Revenue Code, various State Tax Codes, Federal Estate and Gift Tax Code, Private Letter Rulings, Revenue Rulings and Tax Court Cases
Provide analyses of financial, gift, estate, and income tax issues of high net worth individuals and families
Supervise complex transactional planning and structuring
Oversee preparation of individual, partnership, foundation, fiduciary and gift tax returns for high net worth individuals and affiliated entities
Respond quickly to demanding clients' various requests
Recruit, train, and develop tax staff
Contribute technical discussions and administrative initiatives in tax department meetings
Participate in networking events and business development, as appropriate
REQUIRED SKILLS
5+ years of relevant experience in Tax
Strong attention to detail
Polished and professional demeanor
Exceptional analytical skills
Proficiency with computer platforms and applications
Strong Tax Compliance skills
Ability to multitask
Demonstrable leadership skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
