In this role, the M&A Tax Associate will conduct research and analysis of a wide range of tax issues related to business transactions and tax implications of financing techniques for a variety of entities and their affiliates.

The Mergers & Acquisitions Tax Associate will:
Participate in tax-planning for corporate clients
Apply tax technical knowledge to specific client situations
Interface with client personnel to obtain information and delivery a high quality project on time and on budget
Clearly communicate work plan and project objectives to project team
Assist with tax compliance needs of select clients
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team
REQUIRED SKILLS
Bachelor’s Degree in accounting
Advanced Degree: MPA, MST, MAcc, JD or LLM
3+ years of related experience
CPA or Licensed Attorney (or in the process of pursuing)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to articulate complex information
Strong analytical skills
High proficiency in spreadsheets
Ability to simultaneously work on several projects and effectively manage deadlines
High motivation to learn and grow
Detail-oriented
Strong organizational skills to excel in a deadline-driven environment
