KPMG Global Mobility Services is part of the KPMG Global Tax Practice and provides domestic and international clients with a range of multi disciplinary services. Established more than 30 years ago, the practice today comprises more than 2,200 dedicated professionals across KPMG worldwide member firms.
KPMG’s GMS practice is growing rapidly and has won a number of high profile accounts in recent months. We provide broad advisory, compliance, HR, legal and administrative services in relation to a company’s workforce. These services include personal tax return preparation and advisory services relating to Global Equity, Global Mobility, International Social Security and Employment Tax matters. While KPMG's GMS practice is focused on helping global companies better manage their international workforce, the division also provides advice on local employee matters.
We also provide private client tax services to high net worth individuals and company directors.
Role
We are a young dynamic team and we are seeking to hire Tax Seniors who can demonstrate the skills to manage staff and workloads while providing excellent service and quality advice to our clients.
The ideal candidate would have the;
Ability to proactively manage day to day workloads covering cross border and local employee tax and social security matters. This would include liaising with appropriate tax authorities and with clients.
Ability to provide advice on cross border workers and local employee tax issues that may arise e.g. holding client briefings, assignment costings, redundancy matters, social security issues, etc.
Ability to provide advise and assist with the preparation of share plan documentation
Ability to assist in the tax return review process
Ability to provide advise and assist with the preparation of expatriate tax policies
Ability to assist with the management of billings/fee collection for allocated clients to meet working capital requirements of the department.
Ability to delegate to, manage and review trainee work on allocated clients
Ability to present in-house tax training courses and assist with client presentations as required
Requirements
Member of the Irish Taxation Institute or professional accountancy or legal qualification highly desirable but not essential
Good technical skills and detailed knowledge of income tax
Minimum of three years in a professional environment within a tax department
Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, including report writing and presentation skills.
Strong academic record Excellent drive, enthusiasm and commitment.
