VAT Analyst - 12 Months - City - £60, 000

My client one of the UKs largest independent investment management companies is currently seeking an interim VAT Analyst to join them on a 12 month contract.

The role:-

* Liaising with the Senior European VAT Manager on reviewing VAT legislation as well as reviewing the Partial Exemption Special Method "PESM".
* Assisting with the UK VAT return and ensuring all requirements are met.
* Train and advise finance teams on VAT matters, and implement, as required, processes and procedures.
* Assisting with the preparation and monitoring of VAT budgets.

You

* You will need to be a qualified accountant or VAT specialist with an excellent proven track record.
* You will need to have a good working knowledge of UK VAT legislation with some knowledge of European VAT legislation.
* Have good IT skills including Excel with knowledge of Oracle/EBT Tax being beneficial but not essential.
