Tax Manager for FTSE 250 Stockbroking Firm, to £90k + bonus

Job Responsibilities:

* Implement Tax Strategy
* Work with Business Stakeholders to maximise/protect the Group's tax position in relation to new territories, products and legislation
* Help build excellent communication with the Business in the UK and overseas
* Project management and research on tax projects and business development opportunities including new territories, commercial transactions, M&A and rollout of online stockbroking
* Help review and manage the international Transfer Pricing position
* Deal with enquiries from HMRC and assist in maintaining good working relationships
* Responsibility for ensuring that robust processes and controls are maintained in respect of all areas of taxation and helping coordinate governance framework for the UK Senior Accounting Officer regime
* Provide input in relation to tax risk management matters, including maintenance of tax compliance summaries for all UK and overseas jurisdictions in all areas of taxation and Global Tax Compliance dashboard
* Responsibility with the Head of Tax for Group and statutory tax reporting under IFRS

Job Requirements:

* ACA or CTA qualified
* Excellent knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation.
* European tax compliance exposure/willingness to learn
* Good knowledge of key overseas tax issues affecting a UK multinational operating overseas.
* Statutory financial reporting experience
* Basic VAT knowledge desirable
* Basic Employment Tax knowledge desirable
* Transfer pricing exposure
