Solutions Consultant – ONESOURCE tax technology – relationship based role, Thomson Reuters

The Role
We are seeking a solutions consultant to work within our Tax & Accounting division.
The solutions consultant will be responsible for representing the ONESOURCE suite of tax technology products to the top 6 accounting firm clients. ONESOURCE provides a range of tax solutions to a broad range of top organizations, across multiple industries.

The solutions consultant will work to become a specialist in the various products within the suite and build relationships with existing and prospective clients as part of the sales cycle, providing them with high-level demos of the products and engaging a lot in pre-sales activities. They will understand the accounting concepts and how the suite of technology aids this process, and therefore be able to provide insight and advice to clients on how to resolve client service delivery issues. The solutions consultant will work closely with the lead account manager to increase new sales and expand current usage of the core product offerings to the top 6 accounting firms, working to achievable targets.

Ideal candidate
The solutions consultant will ideally come from Big 4, with a tax or accounting background, and a strong interest in technology. Alternatively, an ideal candidate may also be working in an in-house accounting/tax role and using the ONESOURCE suite of products.

The requirements of this solutions consultant (ONESOURCE) job are as follows:

· 5-7 years’ relevant experience, ideally from Big 4 or in-house accounting/tax team
· Knowledge of tax and accounting processes and concepts
· A strong interest in technology
· The ability to be very client-focused and build strong relationships
· Ideally, a degree or accounting/tax professional qualification
