The company
Our client has a strong network across the US and UK markets providing a full range of products to a selection of industries. They are seeking an interim Group Tax Manager for a 12 month contract to manage the businesses tax affairs in a standalone capacity.
The role
Reporting to the Group Finance Director you will be responsible for the UK tax compliance and reporting:
* Management of all UK corporation tax compliance, including overseeing return preparation, group relief schedules, CFC reviews, debt cap reviews and similar and dealing with HMRC queries and SAO requirements.
* Responsibility for IFRS reporting of the Group's current and deferred tax position
* Forecasting the group's effective tax rate and cash outflows for budget purposes and monthly monitoring of the same.
* Reviewing tax disclosures in UK statutory accounts.
* Oversight of VAT and employment taxes
* Manage the relationships with HMRC
About you
You will be ACA/CTA qualified with experience working in a standalone capacity or a similar environment where you have been responsible for the tax function. As part of a smaller head office function it is important to be able to develop relationships quickly with the team and adapt quickly to the new environment. This role will accommodate interim candidates on a fixed term salaried contract or a daily rate contractor.
