Tax Risk Director - In House - London, to £120k

Our Multinational client is looking to hire a Tax Risk Director to join their team in the city. You will be the Direct Tax Leader within the Tax Risk Control Department.

The focus of the role is the continued development of a leading practice tax risk management framework to meet HQ and Global CFO requirements to manage Global Tax risk.

Also involved in tax risk reviews and reporting, focusing on country operations and proactive reviews of specific internal Tax Solutions.

Working with the local business / solution team to monitor and report to Global CFO and BPO of progress in resolving / managing the tax risk identified.

Identify risks in the tax reporting and accounting process including deferred tax recognition and ETR appropriateness and stability.

Close link to Head of FRCC Tax to ensure overall work plan of the Tax Risk Control Department properly reflects the direct tax risks experienced.

Provide commercially focused Global Direct Tax advice ensuring that the business is aware of the direct tax implications on its operations, evaluating business and corporate strategy for direct tax risks, as well as participating in decision making and deployment of strategies

YOU

8+ year's specialist Direct Tax work experience within industry with strong knowledge of Global direct Taxes, including PE and WHT issues in respect of international business transactions involving both goods and services.
