In-house tax accountant, FTSE 250, Cheshire

This is an excellent opportunity for an accountant to join a dynamic FTSE 250 in-house tax function which has responsibility for tax group wide. There will be plenty scope for exposure to a variety of work providing opportunity to gain excellent experience accounting for many UK and international tax initiatives. The role reports to the Group Tax Manager and is part of a proactive Head Office Finance function.

• Regular forecasting of the tax aspects of the Group’s IFRS reporting, acting as the interface between Group Finance and Group Tax in producing, maintaining and updating these forecasts.
• Preparation of detailed IFRS tax audit workings for the interim and full year accounts.
• Preparation of year end group and single UK entity tax disclosures.
• Provide accounting analysis for the UK corporate tax returns.

The ideal candidate will be qualified (ACA/ CTA/ACCA) with strong accounting skills and a sound understanding of tax accounting as well as an excellent communicator
