The company
Our client based in the heart of the West End is seeking a tax professional to join a newly formed project team. The organisation is well known within the media space and seeks the expertise of a competent tax professional with the ability to work across the organisation and ensure the smooth completion of this 2016 project.
The role
The project roles requires the management of enquires from HMRC, including managing settlement offers and ensuring direct communication to investors, advisors and intermediaries. Accountabilities include:
* Understanding the technical issues and HMRC's requests for information
* Understand the implications of HMRC's settlement offer providing a breakdown of calculations terms of the settlement
* Respond to request for information from investors, advisors and intermediaries
* Provide assistance to investors, advisors and intermediaries in understanding the issues raised by HMRC and the current status of those issues
* Working across the business with legal, finance and funds
* Progress outstanding HMRC enquires to settlement offer stage
About you
You will be ACA/CTA qualified with strong attention to detail and the ability to work on high volume projects across multiple business units. You will be a strong and effective communicator to deal with advisors, investors and intermediaries. You will be able to work collaboratively and to strict deadlines.
